Summary
Slipstream DRC is a local Windows desktop application. It does not create user accounts, does not include telemetry or analytics, and does not upload your media files.
Data processed on your device
- Media files you select are probed and processed locally using bundled FFmpeg and ffprobe sidecars.
- Application settings are stored locally (for example in browser or webview local storage).
- A signed license file is stored under your Windows
%APPDATA%profile when you activate. Settings export does not include your license key or license file. - Temporary preview clips may be written under the app cache directory on your machine.
Network activity
The desktop app may contact:
- License API (slipstreamdrc.com/api/v1) when you activate, refresh, or deactivate a license. Requests include your license key and a device identifier derived from Windows
MachineGuid. Media files are never uploaded. - Updates — signed update check against updates.nanometeradvisors.com/slipstream-drc/latest.json. Update downloads are verified with Tauri updater signatures before install.
Opening legal notice links or the purchase page in your browser may contact slipstreamdrc.com or the updates host.
Website checkout
Purchasing on this site uses Stripe for payment processing. Your email address is stored so we can deliver and recover your license key. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data they collect.
